Down the cat walk glitters Grace, her charming dress ripples in the slight breeze. The sun bounces off the sea blue sequence as she does a twirl.
Today was Oaks day and at school we dressed up like we were at the races. We did a cat walk in front of our own grade, then we had a vote on the best description that was about ourselves. As a class we then had a vote on who the top 6 in the grade. (3 girls and 3 boys). In the end the 6 from all of the grades walked in front of all the grade 6’s. I didn’t get in but it was really nice watching all of he others stroll or dance and prance around.
It was a really fun morning.
Here is what I looked like.
Recently we have been watching BTN videos, and then writing about them in a corneal note form. In the video it showed us about how living in North Korea has a lot of restrictions on our own opinion about the government.
Here is a link to the BTN video on North Korea tests.
We have been doing corneal notes because it it a really easy way to write down notes and it is organised so when you go to look at notes you know where the note is. This will be helpful in high school.
here is a peice of writing I wrote on North Korea 🇰🇵 BTN.
Over the last two weeks all of the grade 6’s got together as part of the PE health and safety week.
We did this activity called ME IN A MINUTE. In this activity we had to all different activitys all in one minute.
My 3 goals are to do as many train track jumps in one minute,
hold a ski squat for a hole minute and star jumps for a whole minute and see how many more I can get over 70.
My favourite activity is the star jumps because I got way over my estimated amount of jumps.
Hello everyone,
Yesterday Holly and I did our presentation on France. We were extremely nervous when we got up to present because we haven’t had as much time as the rest of the class because we were both sick for 2 weeks.
Anyway we were presenting really well. Holly and I have read the reflection sheets from our fellow class mates and the feed back we got was: that I should have spoken up a bit and Holly could have had more eye contact.
The biggest impact France has had on Australia would probably be language and food.
Around the country some schools speak French. But at most schools around Australia teach French.
YELLOW HAT COMMENTS
1. The model was a big attraction for our presentation because it stood out a lot, and people knew what it was.
2. The presentation was colourful
GREEN HAT COMMENTS
1. We had the whole classes attention
2. The whole class interacted in the game.
BLACK HAT COMMENTS
1. Not as many dots, some found it distracting
2. The Eiffel Tower was blocking me so the audience couldn’t see me as well.
Thank you for reading.
Here is a picture of our finished product. (The Eiffel Tower)
